Welcome to Ancient Earth Art - Aboriginal Art Gallery

Ancient Earth Aboriginal Gallery is located in the Adelaide Hills town of Hahndorf in South Australia. The heritage building lends itself to the subtle colours of the traditional and contemporary designs of aboriginal art on display. If you cannot visit in person then we invite you to take a gallery walk before viewing. Works sourced directly from our many celebrated Aboriginal artists from all areas of Australia.

Rock art images in traditional ochres, dot paintings from the central desert sit comfortably with third dimensional forms by contemporary artists. Totem Poles, mimi spirit statues, wooden carvings of goannas, birds and snakes mix readily with batik silks, glassware and painted jewelry all contributing to the gallerys unique atmosphere.

Ancient Earths directors extensive 20 years experience knowledge and direct contact with major Aboriginal artists in the central desert, top end and eastern Australia contribute strongly to this very diverse and varied collection.
